This allows us to certify that the information we provide in the Open Data portal has not been altered or modified, as well as leaving a record of its existence. Through the “certificates of trust” supported by the blockchain technology, it is possible to give greater credibility to the portal data.

Public information is a very important input for decision making and many of the users of the Open Energy portal use this information to decide aspects of their work and economic life. That is why, through the use of this technology, we raise the trust levels of stakeholders, stakeholders and the general public that consumes the portal’s data.

On the other hand, thanks to this pilot test, the CNE is again positioned at the regional level as an innovative body, which uses new technologies to provide greater trust to the citizen-government relationship, as well as to have a more open and transparent government. .
